Seattle Public Utilities (SPU) is looking for a Construction Management Inspector (Assistant Civil Engineer) to help deliver the infrastructure that powers healthy neighborhoods and resilient communities. In this role, you’ll inspect and support high-impact construction projects, collaborate with industry experts, and solve complex engineering challenges. Your work will leave a lasting mark on Seattle for generations to come.
As part of SPU’s Construction Management Division (CMD), you’ll oversee the quality and compliance of critical capital improvement projects - from drinking water and drainage systems to wastewater and utility infrastructure. Working alongside engineers, contractors, inspectors, and community partners, you’ll help ensure projects are built safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
