Responsibilities Position Summary The Automotive Service Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and inspecting a wide variety of vehicles while delivering exceptional workmanship and customer satisfaction. Successful technicians accurately identify mechanical and electrical concerns, complete repairs efficiently, and ensure all work meets manufacturer specifications and dealership quality standards. Technicians are expected to maintain productivity, follow safety procedures, communicate effectively with service advisors, and contribute positively to a collaborative team environment. Essential Responsibilities

Perform maintenance services including oil changes, tire rotations, fluid services, filters, batteries, and inspections Diagnose mechanical, electrical, drivability, suspension, steering, brake, HVAC, and engine performance concerns Perform repairs according to manufacturer specifications Complete warranty repairs following OEM procedures Utilize computerized diagnostic equipment and scan tools to identify vehicle issues Read and interpret repair manuals, wiring diagrams, service bulletins, and technical information Inspect vehicles and recommend additional maintenance or repairs when needed Perform engine, transmission, suspension, steering, electrical, and brake repairs Test drive vehicles before and after repairs to verify
