Work you'll do

As a Project - Software Engineer II on the Engineering as a Service team, you will be responsible for… * Design, build, maintain, and optimize database environments that support enterprise applications, workflows, and reporting needs * Develop and support database schemas, stored procedures, queries, and data pipelines that enable secure and efficient data management * Monitor database health, troubleshoot performance issues, and implement fixes that improve availability, reliability, and scalability * Support database migration, modernization, backup, recovery, and disaster recovery activities across development and production environments * Collaborate with application, cloud, infrastructure, and quality assurance teams to support releases, integrations, security requirements, and ongoing operations

Required: * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, or Engineering * 2+ years of experience in database administration, database engineering, or database development * 2+ years of experience working with relational databases, structured query language, database performance tuning, and database maintenance * Experience supporting database backup, recovery, migration, and monitoring activities in enterprise environments * Experience working with application teams to support database integrations, releases, and production support * Ability to travel 40%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve. * Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
