About the role

As the Global EHS Data Assurance Manager , you will serve as the subject matter expert for EHS reporting methodologies and sustainability data assurance. You will lead the execution of global EHS reporting processes, ensure audit readiness for external disclosures, and collaborate with stakeholders worldwide to maintain high-quality, accurate, and reliable environmental and safety data. Your work will directly support Carrier’s sustainability commitments and help deliver transparent, trusted information to customers, investors, regulators, and other key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

As a Global EHS Data Assurance Manager , you'll be responsible for: Executing global EHS reporting and disclosure processes, including GHG emissions, energy, water, waste, and safety metrics. Serving as the subject matter expert for GHG accounting methodologies, reporting boundaries, emission factors, base-year recalculations, and estimation methodologies. Coordinating the collection, validation, consolidation, and reporting of key environmental and safety performance indicators. Driving data quality through controls validation, data reviews, reconciliations, anomaly analysis, and corrective action management. Supporting audit readiness activities, including evidence preparation, stakeholder engagement, issue resolution, and external assurance reviews. Partnering with EHS, Sustainability, and business stakeholders to align reporting practices and strengthen data ownership. Monitoring emerging sustainability reporting requirements and standards, including GHG Protocol, ISO 14064-1, GRI, CDP, SBTi, and CSRD/ESRS. Identifying opportunities to improve reporting processes, dashboards, data controls, and reporting efficiency. Developing and maintaining reporting procedures, methodologies, inventory management plans, and supporting documentation.

Requirements

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical professional who thrives in a collaborative global environment and is passionate about sustainability, data integrity, and continuous improvement. As a minimum, you must have: Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in Sustainability, ESG, or EHS reporting within a global organization. Strong knowledge of GHG accounting and reporting methodologies, including GHG Protocol and ISO 14064-1. Experience supporting assurance audits, regulatory reporting, or external sustainability disclosures. Strong analytical, project management, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills. Advanced English proficiency. Although not necessary, it would be nice if you have: Experience with sustainability reporting frameworks such as GRI, CDP, SBTi, CSRD, or ESRS. Experience with EHS/ESG data management platforms such as Enablon or similar systems. Additional language proficiency beyond English.
