Position
Summary As the Senior IBM Maximo & Cognos Subject Matter Expert, you will be an integral member of the Enterprise Solutions team, providing deep technical and functional expertise across Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), maintenance processes, reporting and analytics. You will lead the development, optimization and support of IBM Maximo and IBM Cognos solutions, ensuring they deliver business value across asset management, maintenance operations, customer services and aftermarket functions. The role will be instrumental in driving digital transformation, data-driven decision making and continuous improvement through the effective use of enterprise asset management and business intelligence capabilities.
What you will be doing
Provide deep technical and functional expertise in IBM Maximo and IBM Cognos across the Enterprise Solutions organization. Lead the design, configuration and optimization of Maximo Asset Management processes and capabilities. Develop and support Cognos reporting, dashboards and analytics solutions to meet operational and strategic business requirements. Troubleshoot and resolve complex application and configuration issues (Tier 3 support). Evaluate technical feasibility and recommend best-practice solutions aligned to enterprise architecture standards. Partner with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable system solutions. Define and maintain governance, standards and best practices for Maximo and Cognos. Support integrations between Maximo and other enterprise platforms. Identify opportunities to improve asset performance, maintenance efficiency, and reporting effectiveness. Advise on emerging technologies, analytics capabilities and industry best practice relevant to Enterprise Asset Management and Business Intelligence. Support platform upgrades, enhancements and future IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS) initiatives. Provide mentoring and technical leadership to SME’s, developers, and support teams.
Basic Requirements
Associates degree in Computer Science/ Engineering with 7+ years of relevant experience, OR Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering with 5+ of relevant experience, OR Master’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering with 3+ of relevant experience, OR JD/PhD in Computer Science/Engineering, OR In lieu of a degree, 9+ years of relevant experience In order to be eligible for consideration, you must be a U.S. Citizen Preferred Requirements: Extensive experience with IBM Maximo Asset Management. Strong experience developing and supporting IBM Cognos Analytics solutions. Deep understanding of Enterprise Asset Management, maintenance and reliability processes. Experience integrating enterprise applications and managing complex data environments. Ability to resolve complex technical and business challenges using specialist knowledge. Experience translating business requirements into sustainable enterprise solutions. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
