 Job Description The Material Handler is responsible for the movement, handling, and organization of materials and products within the warehouse and production areas, ensuring efficient workflow and accurate inventory.
Job Responsibilities
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently to transport materials. Pick and stage materials for production lines or outgoing shipments according to work orders and established procedures. Perform accurate inventory counts and maintain organized storage areas. Prepare outgoing shipments, including packaging, labeling, and loading onto trucks. Inspect materials for damage or defects and report any issues to supervisors. Adhere to all safety guidelines and company policies, including those related to material handling and equipment operation. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Assist with other warehouse and production tasks as needed. Job Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse or material handling role preferred. Proficiency in operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment (certification preferred). Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) regularly. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Basic computer skills for inventory management systems. Ability to read and understand work orders and safety instructions. Good communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stand for extended periods. Why Join Us?
