Constant learning, skill growth, great benefits, and a team that wants you to grow and succeed.    What You'll Build As an SAP S/4HANA (Basis) Engineer within the Global Sovereign Cloud Delivery & Operations team, you will contribute to the daily operations and continuous evolution of SAP's Sovereign Cloud environments. You will work across the service delivery lifecycle, helping ensure the reliability, security, performance, and availability of SAP S/4HANA landscapes in a highly regulated cloud environment. Your responsibilities will include:

Designing, implementing, monitoring, maintaining, and optimizing SAP S/4HANA systems within the SAP Sovereign Cloud environment. Supporting the setup of multi-system landscape architectures and integrations across heterogeneous technologies. Assisting with system implementations, upgrades, patching activities, refreshes, and ongoing operational support. Investigating incidents, contributing to problem resolution, and supporting root cause analysis activities. Providing on-call support for incidents and performance degradations as part of a rotational support model. Contributing to the continuous improvement of technical documentation and operational procedures. Partnering with engineering teams to enhance cloud operations processes and increase automation. Supporting SAP environments running on Linux, Windows, and SAP HANA platforms.

What You Bring Required Qualifications & Experience

SAP experience, including hands-on exposure to SAP S/4HANA. Practical experience in the implementation, upgrade, or support of SAP S/4HANA systems. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Initial exposure to or involvement in Disaster Recovery (DR) planning and testing activities. A problem-solving mindset with foundational troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills. Practical experience supporting SAP systems running on Windows, Linux, and SAP HANA environments. Willingness to work in a 24/7 operational environment, including participation in shift rotations and on-call duties. Commitment to maintaining a regular office presence to support effective team collaboration.

Due to the potentially classified nature of our work, you must be willing to undergo a governmental security clearance process.   Nice to Have

Knowledge of public cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Experience with infrastructure automation and configuration management tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
