WE ARE HIRING A PRN FOOD SERVICE WORKER! MUST be available to attend the two eight hour days of Hospital Orientation. Brentwood Behavioral Healthcare is a provider of quality psychiatric treatment services for adults, children and adolescents. Brentwood Behavioral Healthcare is a 120-bed acute psychiatric care facility located in Flowood, Mississippi. We are accredited by the Joint Commission of Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations and certified by Medicare, Medicaid and TRICARE®. We provide psychiatric treatment for depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, schizophrenia, phobia and more. It is important these issues get treated so individuals are able to lead a healthy and happy life. Brentwood Behavioral Healthcare is seeking a talented and dynamic Food Service Worker for the Dietary Department - (PRN). Job Duties/Responsibilies: A dietary aide is responsible for effectively operating food preparation equipment, assembling food items, taking and recording temperatures, along with ensuring stock and inventory control. Performs duties in accordance with the MSHD and JCAHO standards and follows facility sanitary guidelines. Participates in special food service events including orientation and holiday celebrations. The performance of physical food service operating procedures to ensure a food safe, balanced, and appealing health care dietary environment and all other duties as assigned. Qualifications

Minimum: High school diploma or equivalent. Must be able to read and follow written dietary plans. Preferred: Associate Degree with 1-3 years of prior experience in the food service/preparation field.
