We have an exciting permanent opportunity for a Sensory Specialist to join our Marketing team, based in Southbank . This is a part time contract position until the end of 2026. Key position responsibilities include, but not limited to: Plan and execute sensory studies for assigned projects, including descriptive analysis, product evaluation, and other fit-for-purpose sensory methodologies Lead sensory panels for assigned workstreams, including session planning, setup, facilitation, and adherence to agreed protocols Partner with brand, R&D, and cross-functional stakeholders to clarify business questions, define success criteria, and align sensory approaches to project needs Analyze and interpret sensory data, identify implications, and translate results into clear recommendations for project teams Prepare study outputs, including summaries, tables, charts, and presentations, in a way that supports decision-making Monitor panel and data quality using appropriate statistical and quality-control approaches, and implement corrective actions where needed Coordinate project timelines, testing schedules, and study logistics to ensure high-quality delivery across multiple concurrent projects Work effectively with internal stakeholders to ensure clarity on objectives, timelines, and deliverables What you'll bring: experience in sensory science, sensory research, or closely related consumer insights work Experience designing and executing sensory studies and leading trained panel activity Experience in sensory data analysis, interpretation, and reporting. Strong understanding of sensory science principles and sensory methodologies . Strong analytical capability, including interpretation of sensory data and translation into recommendations Project management capability, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver to agreed timelines Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present insights clearly and credibly High attention to detail and commitment to data quality, protocol compliance, and accurate documentation Proficiency in productivity and collaboration tools such as MS Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel Ability to work successfully within a multi-disciplinary environment and contribute positively in a team setting Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline such as Food Science, Chemistry or Psychology, preferably having majored in Sensory and Consumer Science Ready to make an Impact?
