Job Description
The Agile Development Group (ADG) specializes in developing disruptive, next-generation technologies for advanced Unmanned Air Systems (UAS / UAV), advanced radar systems, next-generation weapon systems, and other RF sensor technologies.
As a Scientist, Systems Engineering, you will be responsible for leading multiple product development efforts which include: hardware and software requirements definition, decomposition, allocation, management, verification, and validation of technical products and systems. You will also be responsible for leading component trade studies, system integration, and characterization of system performance. You will support technical and cost proposal efforts.
Essential Functions
• Architect radar systems hardware and software functional and physical design and requirements in synthesizing advanced technology design concepts.
• Subject matter expert in radar systems engineering.
• Experience with radar systems development.
• Execute analytical and experimental design trades of radar system architectures.
• Strong team player capable of collaborating engaging with various engineering (hardware, software, algorithm, programmable logic, systems) and support organizations (supply chain, operations, contracts, program management, etc.) to ensure best-value program execution.
• Viewed as an expert and/or resource in radar systems engineering within the field by peers in and outside the organization.
• Leads various aspects of radar system design, development, system integration and test efforts as an integrated project team lead.
