Production Manager (12-month FTC)

Summary of Role: Raytheon UK is an international defence and security company providing our customers with innovative solutions for a safer, more connected world. We are recruiting for a Production Manager based on-site in our Glenrothes or Livingston facility, in a working environment where everyone can grow and contribute as part of a successful, inclusive, high performing culture. The Production Manager will be a key leading figure within a customer-focussed cross-functional team and will be responsible for the manufacture of a range of electronic and electro-mechanical products, managing a team of Production Supervisors, Associates and Engineers. Driving excellent teamwork and flawless execution in delivery, quality, safety, and cost. Main Duties: •     Control Account Manager (CAM) for the Manufacturing function •     Control of touch labour Hours Per Unit, and other manufacturing budgets •     Development and execution of production plans to achieve customer on-time delivery •     Management of high mix, and frequently changing priorities using Lean Manufacturing concepts •     Employee Performance Development •     Ownership of all safety procedures •     Driver of process and quality improvements utilising RTX CORE (Customer Oriented Results & Excellence) •     Based on-site, the Production Manager is expected to attend and support at both Glenrothes and Livingston sites. For the first 6 months the successful candidates will be based in Glenrothes, with the main site being dependent on business requirements What You Will Learn Qualifications You Must Have * •    Relevant years’ experience in a Production Management, Manufacturing Engineering or Manufacturing Operations related role •     Qualified to Degree or Diploma level in a Manufacturing Engineering or Manufacturing Operations related discipline Qualifications We Prefer •     Experience in an Electronics / Electro-mechanical
