The Team
Lead, A2R is responsible for overseeing day‑to‑day accounting‑to‑reporting activities and supporting the timely , accurate , and compliant delivery of financial close and reporting. This role serves as a hands‑on leader, providing technical guidance and coaching to A2R analysts while partnering closely with the A2R Manager and broader Finance teams. The role plays an important part in strengthening financial controls, driving process improvements, and supporting finance transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and oversee daily A2R activities, including general ledger accounting, journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliations Support month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close processes to ensure accuracy and on‑time delivery Review journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analyses prepared by team members Ensure compliance with US GAAP, local statutory requirements, and internal accounting policies and procedures •Act as the first point of escalation for operational or technical accounting issues within the team Support SOX controls, internal controls testing, audits, and regulatory reviews Coach, train, and provide day‑to‑day guidance to A2R analysts to build capability and performance Identify and support process improvement, standardization, and automation opportunities across A2R activities Qualifications Education Bachelor’s degree in Accounting , Finance, or a related field (required) Master’s degree or ongoing professional accounting studies (preferred) Experience and Skills Required: Typically 2–4 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, or A2R operations Hands‑on experience supporting month‑end and year‑end close activities Solid understanding of US GAAP and local statutory accounting requirements Experience reviewing work prepared by others and providing constructive feedback Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines Strong communication and collaboration skills Preferred: Experience in a shared services , BPO, or multinational environment Exposure to SOX controls, audits, or internal control frameworks Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools Prior informal leadership, mentoring, or team coordination experience Experience supporting finance transformation or process improvement initiatives Other : Languages: English proficiency required ; additional languages a plus Travel: Limited domestic or international travel (up to ~10%) Certifications: CPA, CMA, ACCA, or local equivalent preferred but not required For more information on how we support the whole health of our employees throughout their wellness,
