Northrop Grumman’s Defense Systems sector is seeking a Electrical Engineering Manager 2 to join a multi-functional team of Electrical, Mechanical, and Systems Engineers in Roy, UT. This position is in our Strategic Deterrent Systems Division to execute the Engineering and Manufacturing Development phase of the Sentinel Program. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package. The primary objective of this role is to collaborate across Systems Engineering, System Test, Global Supply Chain, suppliers, and other Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to develop and review Electrical System hardware requirements, specifications, designs, trade studies, and analyses for the purpose of supporting incremental system maturity milestones and hardware deliveries. The successful candidate will be comfortable with working in a dynamic people-focused environment and collaborating across multiple internal and external stakeholders in order to achieve organizational goals. This position is a dual-hatted role that involves both individual contributions as a senior engineer in the Electrical domain (80%), as well as people leadership in a functional management homeroom (20%). What You’ll Get to Do: Collaborate with stakeholders to decompose technical requirements, develop complete and verifiable requirements, and conduct trade studies Ensure team members have the required training, tools, and access to perform design engineering responsibilities. Develop and review engineering packages for product lifecycle management release.
