We seek a motivated and skilled technical leader to guide, validate, and improve the assembly, integration, and testing phases of our RADAR payload production program. We are seeking a Space RADAR Payload I&T (Integration and Test) SME (Subject Matter Expert) to solve complex technical problems with test procedures, test equipment, test environment, and/or the unit under test encountered during the AI&T (Assembly Integration & Test) process of our space-based RADAR payloads which are comprised of an Electronically Scanned Array (ESA) and Processing Subsystem.  This is a technical support role to help the AI&T program manager, the AI&T Lead, and program Chief Engineer resolve the failures and anomalies seen during AI&T of a high-rate production program.  The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in RADAR I&T, technical leadership skills, and the ability to explain difficult technical concepts to program management and the I&T team and to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams to solve problems. This position is on-site in Linthicum, MD. Responsibilities include: Monitor and troubleshoot issues during AI&T, providing timely resolutions to unforeseen challenges Track progress and provide updates to management and stakeholders regarding test anomaly and test failure resolution Train, mentor, and guide team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing Basic Qualifications: BS in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math) with 14 years relevant experience, 12 years with MS, or 9 with a PhD Experience planning, executing, and analyzing integration and test campaigns, including near-field and compact antenna range activities for RADAR systems Experience integrating embedded firmware, flight software, and hardware to realize the radar system's operational modes and command/control interfaces Active TS clearance required at time of application and SCI eligibility Preferred Qualifications: BS and/or MS in Electrical Engineering Space Integration and Test (I&T) experience at subsystem (e.g., RF panel, ESA, or processor), Payload, or Space Vehicle level Experience with ESA (Electronically Scanned Array)/Phased Array Antenna Integration, Test, and Calibration Experience designing and analyzing RF hardware for space-based RADAR payloads, from front-end components to beamforming and frequency conversion SCI clearance Primary Level Salary Range: $184,100.00 - $276,100.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
