Role
Responsibilities: As a Transport Planner , you will be responsible for : Planning, scheduling, and coordinating the transportation of chemical products worldwide. Managing air and sea freight shipments while ensuring customer delivery commitments are achieved. Selecting the most effective transportation routes and shipping methods based on cost, service, and operational requirements. Ensuring all shipments comply with relevant safety, environmental, customs, and transport regulations. Preparing and maintaining shipping documentation, labels, customs paperwork, and shipment records. Monitoring transportation performance and proactively resolving logistics issues and delays. Acting as a key liaison between logistics providers, freight forwarders, warehouses, customer service teams, and supply chain stakeholders. Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer experience. Preparing logistics performance and cost-analysis reports for management. Identifying opportunities to optimize transportation processes and improve operational effectiveness Experience and Competencies:
What we are looking for
Previous experience in logistics , transportation, shipping, or supply chain operations. Experience coordinating international shipments , ideally including air and sea freight. SAP experience, preferably within Warehouse Management (WM) or logistics-related processes. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work effectively under pressure and respond to changing customer and business demands. A proactive, resilient team player who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. What next?
