Together, we’re improving health and improving lives. LabCorp is seeking a Phlebotomy Site Coordinator to join our team at 100 E. Valencia Mesa Dr. Suite 301, Fullerton, CA 92835 Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:30 am – 4:30 pm with rotating Saturdays Job Responsibilities: Observe and report any performance, compliance or staffing related issues to supervisors Manage and monitor patient flow, wait times, inventory levels and information logs Monitor monthly productivity reports and report any deviations as necessary Address any customer service-related issues in a prompt and respectful manner Promote teamwork, cohesiveness and effective communication among coworkers Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc. Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner Process billing information and collecting payments when required Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis Administrative and clerical duties as necessary Travel to additional sites when needed Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED or equivalent California state issued Phlebotomy license (CPT) Preferred Qualifications: Associate degree 2 year or more of experience as phlebotomist  1 year or more of experience supervisory role Bilingual with proficiency in Spanish and English Additional Job Standards: In lieu of state license requirement listed above, an application for a phlebotomy license filed with the CA Department of Health at time of hire may meet license requirement. Experience managing workflow in a patient-centered environment 6 months or more phlebotomist experiences pediatric patients Knowledge of phlebotomy procedures, techniques, and role responsibilities.  Able to pass a standardized color blindness test.
