We are seeking an Pedatric Emergency Technician (Full-Time, Nights) Our ideal candidate will provide care to assigned patients, according to the established plan of care. As the competency documentation designates, the Pediatric Emergency Technician will be under the direct supervision of the Clinical Supervisor/Team Leader and/or Pediatric Emergency Department Providers. Qualifications

Requirements High School diploma or equivalent. Successful completion of a state-approved Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) course that meets or exceeds the National Emergency Medical Services Education Standards for the Emergency Medical Technician is preferred. Successful completion of the cognitive and psycho-motor exam for the National Registry of EMTs at a Basic, Intermediate, or Paramedic level. 1 year of recent Emergency Department experience as an emergency room technician or at least one year of experience as a primary EMS field provider or military equivalent. BLS certification required. De-escalation Training within six (6) months of hire.
