About this role
Come help us build ZeroDrift is an early-stage AI compliance startup. We are an early stage team, building in real time — which is exactly why someone sharp and reliable who keeps things running makes an outsized difference. That's this role. You'll keep our office and team humming, and get a front-row seat to how a startup actually gets built.
About the role
You'll work side-by-side with our Head of Operations, helping keep the heartbeat of the company running. Your home base is making our in-office days run smoothly, but this is much more than office management: you'll take on rotating projects across sales, marketing, product, and research, and see how the whole company fits together. No two weeks will look the same. If you're highly organized, love solving problems, and are excited by the idea of wearing multiple hats, you'll make a real impact from day one, learn directly from experienced leaders, and grow alongside a fast-moving AI company.
**Paid, part-time, in-office Tuesday through Thursday mornings at our office in downtown Manhattan.
What you'll do Office and team operations
Keep our in-office days running smoothly — team breakfasts and lunches, supplies, common spaces, and being an on-the-ground point of contact Support logistics for all-hands and monthly business reviews Partner with our operations team on recurring event and space logistics
Cross-functional projects (rotating)
Sales and GTM: account and market research, CRM cleanup, event and conference prep Marketing: drafting and scheduling social and newsletter content, compiling an industry-news digest Product: synthesizing customer feedback into themes, light QA, documentation cleanup
What you'll get out of it
A behind-the-scenes look at how a business actually runs — the operations, decisions, and trade-offs that keep an early-stage company moving A rare vantage point across the whole company, from sales to product to research, and how the pieces fit together Direct mentorship from experienced operators and founders
Who you are
Highly organized and detail-oriented — you notice the thing that's out of place A clear, proactive communicator Comfortable juggling several small things at once and re-prioritizing on the fly Quick to pick up new tools (we use Notion, Slack, and Google Workspace), and comfortable using AI like Claude in your day-to-day Interested in startups, operations, or how companies actually get built
