The Dental Record Technician is responsible for the completion of set processes and protocols. Works cooperatively with all members of the care team to support the vision and mission of the organization, deliver excellent customer service, and adhere to Lean processes. Supports the teams in meeting financial, clinical, and service goals. Schedule: This is a 40-hour Monday through Friday between the hours of 7:00 am to 4:00pm CST. The schedule will be determined by the manager upon hire. Location: Remote Nationwide You will enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.

Primary Responsibilities

Track status of all escalated information requests in Medical Record tracking database Serves as a liaison and monitors CQM tasks conducted by the fulfillment and dental records areas Performing follow-up activities on dental records requests escalated from the fulfillment team ensuring departmental timeliness requirements are met Processes received dental records invoices Maintains the Dental Record tracking database Assists clinical staff with the preparation of case files for committees as needed Assists with development and maintaining up to date documents, such as correspondence templates, policies and procedures and work instructions related to dental records functions Data entry and conducts audits within agreed upon timelines Runs reports and complete analysis within agreed upon timelines Reviews issues/trends, develops interventions when needed, and reports relevant issues/trends to the CQM Director and Manager Maintains confidentiality and non-discoverability of all activities Conducting other non-clinical activities and performing all other duties as assigned Performs other duties as assigned What are the reasons to consider working for UnitedHealth Group? Required Qualifications

High School Diploma/GED 3+ years of computer proficiency experience with Microsoft Office programs and Adobe or equivalent 1+ years of experience working as a Dental Assistant Ability to work full-time Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 7:00am - 4:00pm CST Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable) Access to a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy Must live
