We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Senior Health & Safety Engineer to join our organization in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this senior-level position, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing comprehensive health and safety programs that protect our workforce and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations. You will play a critical role in fostering a strong safety culture while driving continuous improvement across all operational areas. Develop, implement, and maintain health and safety policies, procedures, and programs aligned with Saudi Arabia's labor regulations, OSHA standards, and ISO 45001 requirements Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and hazard analyses across all work areas, identifying potential dangers and recommending mitigation strategies Design and deliver safety training programs to employees at all levels, ensuring understanding of safety protocols and best practices Investigate workplace incidents and near-misses, performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence Manage safety audits and compliance inspections, documenting findings and developing action plans to address non-conformances Oversee the development and maintenance of safety documentation, including safety data sheets, standard operating procedures, and emergency response plans Collaborate with department heads and operational teams to integrate safety considerations into all business processes and projects Monitor and analyze safety metrics and key performance indicators, preparing reports for senior management and recommending program enhancements Stay current with evolving health and safety regulations and industry best practices, ensuring organizational compliance Coordinate with external stakeholders, including regulatory agencies and safety consultants, as needed Qualifications **Required Qualifications:** Minimum 15 years of professional experience in health and safety engineering or a related field Comprehensive knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations, including Saudi Arabia's labor laws, OSHA standards, and ISO 45001 Demonstrated expertise in risk assessment methodologies, hazard analysis, and safety program development Proven experience conducting incident investigations and implementing corrective and preventive actions Strong proficiency with health and safety management systems and related software platforms Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to train and educate diverse audiences Solid project management capabilities and organizational skills Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret safety data and develop evidence-based recommendations Professional demeanor and commitment to
