Partnering with the best As a Field Specialist – Artificial Lift Systems, you are leading the installation, retrieval, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Access ESP systems and associated equipment in both offshore and onshore environments. You are acting as the primary on-site technical representative, coordinating with customers, account managers, and internal teams to ensure safe, efficient, and successful project execution. You are providing technical leadership, conducting training, and supporting operational excellence across global assignments . This role requires the ability and willingness to work on rotational assignments of 30 days or longer in international and remote field locations. Employees must be flexible to support customer operations across global regions, including Angola, Indonesia, Malaysia, Brunei, Italy, various Middle East countries, Latin America, Alaska, and other international operational locations as business needs require. The position involves extensive domestic and international travel, often on short notice, and may include offshore and remote-site assignments. Working oversea would be eligible for extra bonus, while assignments in Alaska and other U.S. locations may include additional compensation based on applicable field schedules and hours worked. As a Field Specialist – Artificial Lift Systems, you are being responsible for : Performing installation and retrieval operations for AccessESP Retrievable ESP systems and associated equipment in offshore and onshore locations. Leading field crews and supervising technical service activities to ensure safe and efficient execution. Participating in pre-job planning meetings and preparing operational requirements for field assignments. Acting as the on-site Artificial Lift representative for customer communication and operational coordination. Monitoring, troubleshooting, and testing downhole ESP equipment and downhole monitoring tools to maximize productivity and equipment run life. Assisting with management and optimization of ESP systems to improve operational performance. Commissioning and maintaining surface control equipment when qualified and authorized to perform electrical work. Completing all required job documentation, worksite reviews, and post-job debriefs. Providing on-the-job training and technical guidance to team members. Supporting special projects and additional operational activities as assigned. Conducting all activities in compliance with Baker Hughes HSE policies, legal requirements, and company core values. Traveling internationally and domestically, often on short notice, to support customer operations. Fuel your passion To be successful in this role you will: Have a high school diploma or equivalent experience. Have a minimum of 5 years of relevant field experience or equivalent technical background. Have extensive experience running Electrical Submersible Pump (ESP) systems, Artificial Lift equipment, or related downhole technologies. Have a completions background is considered a strong advantage. Have demonstrated troubleshooting capabilities and analytical skills for diagnosing ESP performance issues.
