We are currently seeking a Teacher (licensed) to join our team of dedicated professionals. Hermitage Hall (a UHS company) is one of Middle Tennessee's largest stand-alone psychiatric residential treatment hospitals. Licensed by Tennessee Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services as a mental health residential treatment center for children and youth, Hermitage Hall has provided services to families for over 30 years. Located southwest of downtown Nashville, off I-65 at the Wedgewood exit, away from the congestion of downtown Nashville, our team of over 130 high quality employees describe working here as family oriented, therapeutic, value clarifying Position Summary: The Teacher is responsible for planning curriculum, creating classroom schedules, and preparing lessons and instructional materials that meet the individual needs of students including those with IEPs, when applicable in alignment with state and school requirements. The position also supports students by assisting with special healthcare needs and helping them develop daily living and behavioral skills. Job Duties/Responsibilities: Develops and implements behavioral objectives by reviewing referral and assessment data. Establishes, monitors, and documents goals and objectives for individual student needs with assistance of treatment team. Administers standard classroom procedures by maintaining current school records and maintains confidentiality of all student records per program guidelines. Ensures line-of-sight supervision of assigned students, maintains structured environment to ensure student involvement as appropriate.

Qualifications
Requirements: Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) from a four-year college or university Valid TN Teaching License, required. TN Teaching Permit is acceptable as long as you are pursuing your TN Teaching permit within three years of hired date. Special Education endorsement is preferred Preferred one to two years related experience and/or training.
