Job Title : Shell Press Mechanic Company: CROWN Hellas Can Packaging SA Job Summary The Ends Shell Press Mechanic is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and optimal operation of specialized machinery used in the production of can ends at our facility. This role ensures the continuous, efficient, and high-quality output of can end shells. Job Responsibilities * Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on ends shell presses, tools, and ancillary equipment, including mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. * Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions to minimize downtime. * Execute precision adjustments and alignments of press components, tooling, and dies to maintain product quality and operational efficiency. * Conduct regular inspections of machinery to identify potential problems and proactively address wear and tear. * Assist in the installation, commissioning, and optimization of new or upgraded press machinery. * Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, parts used, and machine performance. * Collaborate with production teams to optimize press operations and resolve production-related issues. * Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and company policies during maintenance and repair tasks. * Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to machinery performance, reliability, and safety. Job Qualifications * Proven experience as a Mechanic, preferably in a manufacturing environment with a focus on high-speed production machinery, metal forming, or stamping presses. * Strong mechanical aptitude with excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
