Job Description
In this role, you will be responsible for investigating and resolving attorney‑represented bodily injury claims within our Extended Handler Bodily Injury (EHBI) Casualty Unit. This includes confirming the facts of loss for complex automobile accidents, determining coverage, liability, and damages, and negotiating settlements within assigned authority limits. The role also includes mentoring and supporting junior team members, helping to drive consistent, high‑quality claim handling and development across the team. We are seeking an experienced Attorney-Repped Bodily Injury Consultant. The ideal candidate will be comfortable navigating technology and thrive when juggling multiple priorities efficiently. Is highly organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable, with effective verbal and written communication abilities. Experience handling AL injury claims is highly desirable. Ideal candidate resides in the CST or EST time zone. Key Responsibilities • Determines subrogation or fraud potential and how to handle for complex cases • Applies advanced understanding of insurance policies written by the company, the industry, and organizational relationships within the company and department • Handles investigation regarding all aspects of complex auto claims (coverage, liability and damages) with the exercise discretion and independence within increased level of authority • For claims involving injuries (if handled), learns how to review, evaluate, and negotiate moderate to complex injury claims • Recognizes and identifies body parts of a vehicle and understanding other potential property damage • Identifies customer needs and works to meet those needs using appropriate customer service skills Supervisory Responsibilities • This job does not have supervisory duties. #LI-AS2 Skills Analytical Thinking, Auto Insurance Claims, Bodily Injury Claims, Communication, Negotiation, Organizing, Prioritization Compensation Base compensation offered for this role is: Adjuster Cons I: $53,500.00 - 77,800.00/salary Adjuster Cons II: $56,000.00 - 82,500.00/salary Adjuster Sr. Cons I: $68,500.00 - 104,100.00/salary Compensation is based on experience and qualifications. Total compensation for this role may include additional components, such as incentive pay (for example, commission or bonus), if applicable. As a requirement of employment, individuals who currently hold an active insurance license must terminate all existing appointments prior to onboarding and must not hold any outside appointments at any point during employment. Applicants seeking an adjuster role who also hold a resident producer license must formally surrender that license when instructed to by the licensing team.
