Raytheon is seeking a candidate to join our Production Control organization in Forest, MS. The successful candidate will transact and execute in Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and Shop Floor Control systems to ensure alignment between material availability, production schedule, and contractual requirements. The successful candidate must have effective communication skills, an aptitude for innovative solutions, and the ability to learn MRP System signals, processes, and troubleshooting in a manufacturing environment. In this role, the ownership and use of metrics will be key to maintain system health and drive the level of performance that will support customer expectations. The ideal candidate is expected to exude Raytheon’s key values, facilitate conflict resolution, and apply Raytheon process improvement principles in all areas of work.
What You Will Do
Evaluate and coordinate material requirements to ensure a controlled flow of approved materials are timed to meet production requirements. Plan and prepare manufacturing production schedules, assessing changes and improving processes as necessary. Prepare reports on works in progress and coordinate within the value stream to ensure on time release and closure. Conduct inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies in the Material Requirements Planning (MRP) System. Track status of material availability, and potential production problems to ensure that personnel, equipment, and materials are available as needed. Coordinate interdepartmental activity with quality assurance, manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, inventory control, logistics, and other groups. Schedule and expedite the movement of parts by means of move orders, stock transfers and requests for shipping orders. Perform movement of material to and from the warehouse, factory, pack/ship, and or other areas as needed. Ensure materials compliance through the adherence to company rules, policies, guidelines, and audits applicable to the site.
Qualifications
You Must Have 0+ years experience and a bachelor’s degree with a major in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering Experience in Operations, Supply Chain, or Production Control Experience with Microsoft Office tools The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.
