Part of a larger team delivering high quality technology solutions to the business. Design, develop and install software solutions. Build high-quality, innovative and fully performing software in compliance with internal architecture, development & design standards & best practices. Design, modify, develop, write, implement and troubleshoot software programming applications. Support and/or install software applications. Participate in the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing and certification of software. Works within a Waterfall or Agile methodology/framework-based team. Collaborates heavily with Project Management, Business Analyst and Infrastructure Job Families. What you’ll do: Essential Job Functions & Tasks Support AVEVA PI (Plant Information) system, components and processes Ability to understand interrelationships between systems and components Demonstrate critical thinking, urgency, and attention to detail to support real time operations Able to adapt and work within the team environment Able to provide on rotation, after hours (24 x 7) on-call support Additional Preferred Requirements: Preferred intermediate to advanced experience supporting AVEVA PI, Operational Technology Systems, and their components Other Preferred Requirements: AVEVA PI experience, especially with ( PI Interfaces, PI Connectors, PI Integrators) Operational Technology experience – Power Plant Control Systems such as Ovation Understanding of Communications Protocols – OPC, Modbus, DNP, Ovation SCADA System related experience What We're Looking For: Education requirements are listed below: Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical field is required.  Work Experience requirement listed below: 2 years of relevant work experience is required. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Data Compensation Grade: SP20-006 Compensation Range: $74,551.00 - $93,188.50 The Physical Demand Level for this job is: S – Sedentary Work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally (Occasionally: activity or condition exists up to 1/3 of the time) and/or a negligible amount of force frequently. (Frequently: activity or condition exists from 1/3 to 2/3 of the time) to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
