Cloud Architect - Product Owner

We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Applied Cloud Architect – Product & Platform to lead the design, development, and delivery of cloud-based solutions that directly drive business value. This role blends architecture, product thinking, and hands-on engineering . You will define and drive the technical roadmap aligned to product outcomes , while also building and operationalizing solutions in a production environment. Define and drive the technical roadmap aligned with product strategy and business priorities in a highly regulated environment Translate product requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable cloud architectures Design, build, and deploy cloud-native solutions using GCP (preferred), AWS, or Azure Act as a bridge between product, engineering, and stakeholders , shaping both “what” gets built and “how” Lead the development of data, AI/ML, and application platforms in the cloud Implement and operationalize end-to-end solutions , including data pipelines, APIs, and ML workflows Establish and enforce best practices for cloud architecture, security, performance, and cost optimization Drive MLOps/DevOps practices , including CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and monitoring Own delivery of key features and platforms, ensuring they are production-ready, scalable, and measurable Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and integrate innovations that accelerate product capabilities Required Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience in cloud engineering, architecture, or applied data/ML systems Hands-on experience with GCP (e.g., Vertex AI, BigQuery, GKE, Cloud Functions) or equivalent platforms Experience with design and implement scalable cloud architectures Python programming experience Experience building and deploying data pipelines, APIs, and/or ML solutions in production Experience with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred) Experience operating across both technical execution and product-oriented thinking 10% travel required Preferred Qualifications Ability to operate at both strategic and hands-on levels Strong product mindset with focus on delivering business outcomes Excellent system design and architectural thinking Effective stakeholder communication and cross-functional collaboration Bias toward action, ownership, and end-to-end delivery Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field Education Bachelor’s degree Anticipated Weekly Hours 40 Time Type Full time Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is: $92,700.00 - $185,400.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.    Our people fuel our future.
