Position Overview: AECOM is looking for the position of Technician - Transmission Line, who will provide field technical assistance for inspection, measurement, testing, completion, pre-commissioning and handover-readiness activities.

Assist supervisors and engineers during inspections, measurements and field verification. Support foundation, tower erection, stringing, earthing and pre-commissioning checks. Record field measurements, test readings, material quantities and equipment details. Verify availability and condition of tools, test instruments and safety equipment. Assist with conductor-jointing, compression records, earthing measurements and continuity testing. Support OPGW testing, tagging, identification and test-record compilation. Maintain checklists, daily records, punch lists and work-completion data. Assist in material reconciliation and identification of missing, damaged or surplus materials. Support final walkdowns and closure of minor punch points. Assist in tower numbering, phase marking, danger-board installation and route identification. Support compilation of as-built data and handover documentation. Perform only those testing or operational activities for which the individual is trained and authorized. Key Deliverables: Field-measurement and test records. Daily technical-assistance report. Punch-list status records. Material and equipment reconciliation inputs. Handover-readiness checklists.

Minimum Qualification and Experience: ITI, technical certificate or diploma in Electrical, Civil or Mechanical discipline. Minimum 5 years of relevant transmission line or substation field experience. Practical knowledge of site
