Job Overview
As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for managing Platform developments requiring systems design, EOL software for calibration &Testing, software, electrical design, to grow the sensors portfolio serving the Automotive and Industrial & Commercial Transportation (ICT) markets. The Software Engineer will engage and work with internal cross-functional engineering teams across the globe as well as collaborate with internal and external technical partners, NPI teams. You need to be comfortable, experienced, and adept working across time zones, geographical and organizational boundaries as well as ambiguity. KEY RESPONSBILITIES:
Software Design & Development • Analyze stakeholder requirements and derive system and software specifications • Design and develop EOL calibration and ATE test software for sensor products • Develop applications using LabVIEW and optimize performance using tools like VI Analyzer • Develop modular, scalable, and maintainable testing frameworks Development, Validation & Problem Solving • Perform unit testing, integration testing, and system-level validation • Debug issues spanning software, firmware, electronics, and test hardware • Hands on experience in usage of test benches, rigs, and automation setups • Hands on experience in usage of power supply, oscilloscopes etc. • Ensure robust communication using protocols such as SENT, I2C, SPI, CAN Customer Interaction & Technical Leadership • Collaborate with product engineering, ASIC design, manufacturing, QA, and functional safety teams • Work effectively in a global, multi-site, cross-time-zone environment • Be part of technical discussions with customers and internal stakeholders AI, Data Analytics & Continuous Improvement • Apply machine learning techniques for test data analytics, anomaly detection, and early failure prediction. • Leverage AI/ML to optimize calibration strategies and accelerate sensor characterization.
DESIRED SKILLS
Bachelor's Degree in technical discipline (Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Integrated Circuit Design) 2-4+ years of technical experience including full lifecycle developments with automotive electronics, integrated circuits, Sensor products/Platforms.Experience in Software- and System- Development, Design, Requirement
