In this position, as part of Manufacturing Engineering team, you will lead the Fixtures team supporting Assembly and Test processes. Your team consists of Fixtures Engineers, Fixtures Maintenance Engineers and Fixtures Technicians. You will be accountable for Fixtures availability and maintenance records to support a 24x7 production. You will work across organizational functions to resolve technical, quality and production challenges, as well as opportunity to develop excellence in product design and manufacturing processes. What you’ll do
• Lead and develop the Fixtures Engineering team, including performance management, coaching, and capability development. • Own Fixtures Engineering execution for assembly and test operations across all shifts, frequently reporting Key Performance Indicators (KPI) to leadership. • Foster a high-performance culture and support the establishment of a new Fixtures Engineering organization. • Lead and develop engineers and technicians to ensure coverage, capability, and performance for speed to resolution, while meeting safety and quality expectations. • Serve as escalation owner for complex all fixtures issues; drive RCCA, containment, and permanent corrective actions (8D). • Develop Total Productive Maintenance strategy to ensure test systems and fixtures are reliable, available, and production-ready. • Drive operational excellence aligned to SQDC, including yield, cycle time, uptime, and cost improvement. • Enforce compliance with safety, RBA working-hours, manufacturing procedures, and audit requirements. • Partner with Operations, Test Engineering, Quality, Facilities, and Global teams to support ramp, NPI, and sustaining readiness. • Lead continuous improvement initiatives for productivity, reliability, and standardization. Who we’re looking for
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics or other related courses. • Minimum 8-10 years of relevant technical experience in manufacturing, test, fixtures, or related engineering functions. • Capable to read mechanical drawings and schematic diagram. • Experience leading and scaling teams of design, systems, and/or manufacturing engineers in a high-customization production environment. • Demonstrated capability to collaborate effectively across organizational and functional boundaries in a large-sized organization. • Excellent interpersonal communication and people management skills. • Strong analytical skills, including statistical analysis. • Strong structured problem-solving skills and understanding of root cause analysis. • Familiar with virtual manufacturing and model-based-design (MBD) techniques. • Result oriented with ability to manage and scale an organization. • Proven experience in performance management, coaching, and developing engineering teams. • Experience in LEAN manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies. • Strong working knowledge of RCCA and 8D problem-solving methodologies. Preferred qualifications
• Experience in semiconductor manufacturing environment. • Knowledge in 3D design software such as NX, Creo, SolidWorks and Teamcenter will be added advantage. • Strong knowledge in SAP systems and applications will be added advantage. • Comfortable with ambiguity and uncertainty; the ability to adapt nimbly and lead others through complex situations. • Familiarity with virtual manufacturing and model-based-design (MBD) techniques. •
