The facility utilizes unique equipment during the manufacturing process, demanding a highly skilled Maintenance Department for safe, efficient, and reliable equipment operation. To meet these demands, our team is composed of multi-disciplinary individuals that possess the abilities to design, install, maintain and troubleshoot anything from pneumatic systems to electrical and computer control systems. Rotating Shift Structure: 4-on/4-off rotation equates to 6-months off every year! Rotating day/night shift every 2 months 12-hour shifts: 6:00AM - 6:00PM / 6:00PM – 6:00AM What You Will Do The Maintenance Mechanic I role is a facility and industrial maintenance position whose core job duties will include: Perform preventative/corrective maintenance on all facility and process related equipment to include make-up air units (MAU), natural gas fired generators, oil/water separators, cooling water towers, vacuum pumps, air compressors, variable frequency drives, boilers, steam systems, and associated equipment Analyze and repair all malfunctioning equipment or systems i.e., Mechanical, Pneumatic and Electro-mechanical Adhere to all engineering instruction, standard operation procedures, and all departmental procedures Observe and follow environmental, health and safety procedures. Positively represent Collins Aerospace’s company vision and support the management team Know, understand and ensure that company policies and procedures are followed and consistently implemented Basic electrical troubleshooting skills Familiarity with Distributive Control Systems Maintain accurate maintenance records utilizing a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) Follow written and verbal instructions Perform water treatment analysis and take corrective action Ensure a clean and organized work area is maintained Operate the following equipment and tools: Forklift 3-ton and 5-ton Cranes Hand tools Power tools Digital Multimeter Precision alignment tools Qualifications You Must Have HS Diploma.
