Branding & Communications – International Communications Director General Information Hiring Department/Group: Branding & Communications Job Title: International Communications Director Office Location: London Manager: Chief Communications Officer Job Function Summary The global Branding & Communications team is responsible for creating and deploying global branding and communications strategies for Millennium and WorldQuant. We are seeking an International Communications Director who will be responsible for coordinating Millennium and WorldQuant’s branding and communications strategies and activity across these international markets and managing a number of strategic projects, including internal and external communications, digital marketing, branding, content, culture, investor communications, events and more. The role will also serve as a “COO” of the global function, ensuring the team’s activities are closely tailored to the firm’s objectives with a focus on the EMEA and APAC regions, as well as support with overall team management. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced and organized branding and communications professional, with a broad skillset and a passion for the diversity of international markets, to join an innovative team.
Principal Responsibilities
Oversee international execution of the branding and communications strategy and activity focused on target EMEA & APAC markets, managing an international network of agency partners to optimize their activity, and ensuring an integrated and coordinated approach Operate as an effective COO of Branding & Communications, ensuring international activity across the function is closely tailored to the firm’s objectives, as well as providing overall team management support Run the international branding and communications activity across these key markets to drive business priorities in close partnership with the Branding & Communications leadership team Partner closely with the firm’s regional leadership to identify and prioritize branding and communications needs across key international markets, ensuring these are well coordinated with the global mandate Engage directly with international media in close coordination with the Millennium and WorldQuant Heads of Communications, as well as oversee proactive communication locally tailored as required Develop international communications strategies and supporting materials for internal and external stakeholders, including messaging, press releases and Q&As Active participation in the planning of
