This role is open to DeepMind employees as a secondment opportunity and will not impact your status as a full time employee. Your level and ladder will not change for the duration of the secondment. Google Fixed-Term employees will need to secure pre-approve from their VP to apply for this role as your current team will not be able to back-fill you for the duration of your bungee, and so will need to pre-agree to loan your headcount to DeepMind for the duration of the bungee. Google FTC employees, and those impacted do not need this approval. ---------------------------- As a Leadership Development Partner, you will manage and deliver workstreams of medium complexity, balancing immediate operational needs with longer-term capability goals. You will work closely with the Head of Leadership Development, cross-functional People and Culture (P&C) teams, and business leaders to design, deploy, and scale leadership development interventions that empower our leaders to do their best work. Manage and execute core leadership development workstreams, including 360-degree feedback assessments, onboarding tracks, and capability workshops. Partner with the Head of Leadership Development to contextualize and deploy existing leadership offerings, while co-designing bespoke internal solutions tailored to GDM’s unique frontier needs. Analyse qualitative and quantitative leadership data (e.g., sentiment surveys, 360 trends, program evaluation feedback) to measure impact, diagnose capability gaps, and refine ongoing initiatives. Act as a trusted consultant and partner to P&C Partners, internal communications, and operational teams to ensure aligned and seamless program execution across the business. Identify opportunities to streamline program operations, leverage modern AI tools to improve workflow efficiency, and update learning content based on evolving organisational needs.
Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience 4 years of experience managing and delivering learning, leadership, or organisational development programs. Preferred qualifications: Demonstrated ability to own and drive projects of medium complexity from inception through to evaluation, balancing short-term execution with long-term goals. Curiosity and ability to use AI tools practically and responsibly to enhance workflows, learning experiences, and productivity. Develops in a dynamic, high-growth environment; able to navigate ambiguity, pivot quickly when priorities shift, and support leaders through organisational change. Strong communication and people management skills, with a track record of building trusted cross-functional relationships and adapting messaging for multiple audiences. Comfortable working with multi-source qualitative and quantitative data to draw actionable insights and measure program impact.
