RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides Level II support for escalated incidents from the Service Desk. Assists with general Teams Rooms troubleshooting. Troubleshoots, diagnoses, and resolves problems for managed computers. Helps establish and maintain hardware and software standards that meet users’ business needs. Assists in the development of work processes and procedures. Participates in IT Services project planning and implementation. Configures and installs computer equipment. Configures, images, and deploys standardized computer equipment to support business integrations and acquisitions. Trains computer users in various computer-related skills. Provides support for Android and iOS mobile devices. Requires some travel.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required 2+ years post high school technical education or 2+ years’ relevant experience in a Service Desk/Help Desk environment. Successful completion of at least one formal course in computer basics or equivalent experience. Working knowledge of the following PC software: Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving ability. Demonstrated initiative to work independently and with a team. Demonstrated adaptability to change. Ability to install or replace hardware components, e.g., memory, SSD, etc. Basic understanding of computer networks and components, including wireless technologies. Demonstrated group presentation skills. Must be able to lift personal computer equipment, up to 50 lbs. Applicants must not now, or at any time in the future, require sponsorship for a work visa. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer. Preferred Experience creating silent install packages. Familiarity with Macs. LOCATION: Corporate Office, Austin, MN At Hormel Foods, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. The base hiring pay range for the Senior Infrastructure Technician role is between $25,50 - $35,50 per hour , and your actual base pay within that range will depend upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skill set, level of experience, and geographic market location.
