About the company We are a leading soup production facility dedicated to delivering high-quality, safe, and delicious products to our customers. Our team works with precision and attention to detail to ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulatory requirements. What you will be doing As a General Labor Associates, you will be responsible for monitoring and verifying production processes to ensure compliance with company policies and food safety regulations. Schedule start time is 4am-6am start – Due to the nature of our product, a part-time or seasonal schedule variance may be required during off-peak season. Responsibilities may include:
Loading / unloading trailers
Shipping FG materials
Receiving raw materials physically and systematically
Using company ERP System (M3 & Factory Track)
Staging of raw & pack materials following recipe sheets
Batching / measuring food ingredients and spices to proper specifications
Able to repeatedly pick up, up to 50lbs
Proper usage of machinery to perform tasks
Checking for finished goods: seals, temperature, code date
Perform Critical Control Point (CCP) for hot filling and cooling of product
Hard copy documentation and Safety Chain data logging
Assist operator/lead with changeovers
Able to assist in resetting, replenishing, offloading, and unjamming machinery
Sanitation of general machinery, equipment, & Production Rooms
Perform production paperwork: verifying code date, mastercase labels, and weight verification
Palletize product by Hi x Ti and configurations
Ability to work standing, climbing stairs up to 10+hrs
Able to read, write, and communicate in English to comprehend the tasks assigned
Able to work on a 7-day operation / 6-day work week
Able to work in a cold (35 degree) and wet environment
Position requires the use of PPE (provided by the company):
Smocks, safety glasses, steel toe rubber boots, hair/beard nets, & ear plugs
Position requires the practice of cGMPs (Current Good Manufacturing Practices)
No piercings
No nail polish / false nails
No jewelry
No cell phones on Production Floor
Following procedures regarding Safety, Food Safety, Quality, Efficiency, and Sanitation
Working safely and following SQF, FDA, and USDA protocols
Position requires heavy lifting up to 50lbs (repeatedly)
Operate hand truck, electric Pallet jack/forklift/stand up (training will be provided on-site / required for position)
Manufacturing Food Industry Experience is recommended
