This position is based in Plano, TX.   Who We’re Looking For    Toyota Financial Services is seeking a passionate and highly motivated Principal Salesforce Engineer / Development Lead.

Imagine leading the architecture and development of cutting-edge Salesforce platforms that seamlessly integrate with cloud-native services and enterprise systems. Your typical day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, mentoring engineers, and driving technical excellence across complex projects.   Lead the design and implementation of Salesforce Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and related technologies to create scalable, secure, and extensible platforms.   Hands on Salesforce Platform Development if needed.  Own complex, cross-domain technical initiatives spanning Salesforce, backend services, integrations, and cloud infrastructure.   Contribute to architecture decisions and engineering best practices to ensure operational excellence, performance, and resilience.   Collaborate closely with technical lead, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into robust technical solutions.   Mentor and influence engineering teams through design reviews, pair programming, and architectural guidance.   Innovate by integrating emerging AI-powered development tools and automation into the software lifecycle.   Ensure platform security, compliance, and observability through thoughtful design and implementation.   What You Bring      Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience providing a strong foundation in software engineering principles.   12+ years of hands-on software development experience with a proven track record of designing and operating large-scale, production-grade systems.   Advanced expertise in Salesforce Service Platform technologies including Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Agent force, Apex, Lightning Web Components, and Salesforce Shield.   Deep understanding of Salesforce integration patterns using REST, Bulk APIs, Platform Events, Streaming APIs, and middleware.   Strong technical foundation in distributed systems, cloud-native architectures (preferably AWS), RESTful APIs, event-driven architectures, and microservices.   Demonstrated ability to build scalable, reliable, and high-performance applications with a focus on
