Mission Software Systems (MSS) brings together expertise across intelligence, software, and cloud to deliver end-to-end capability supporting the full intelligence lifecycle, from planning through to dissemination and feedback. As a Senior DevSecOps Engineer, you will play a key role in enhancing and securing the delivery of mission-critical Defence capabilities. Working within a highly collaborative Agile environment, you will help shape the DevSecOps strategy, modernise delivery pipelines, and ensure security is embedded throughout the software development lifecycle. Lead the design, implementation and continuous improvement of secure CI/CD pipelines, automation frameworks and cloud-native DevSecOps practices across complex Defence programs. Champion security-by-design principles by integrating vulnerability management, compliance controls, threat detection and security tooling throughout the development and deployment lifecycle. Collaborate with software engineers, system engineers, architects and customer stakeholders to deliver scalable, resilient and secure solutions within an Agile delivery environment. Drive platform optimisation, infrastructure as code adoption, monitoring and operational excellence while mentoring team members and promoting DevSecOps best practices across the broader engineering community.
