Sustainability ad Climate Sales Associate

Responsibilities MSCI is a leading provider of Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) and data, models and tools to different capital markets participants globally. Our capital market focused solutions are adopted by wide span of market participants, Asset managers, Pension plans, Insurance, Banks, and Coporate Issuers. In this exciting and dynamic environment, you are responsible as an MSCI Sustainability Consultant for experiene of clients and prospects. To succeed in the role, proven abilities to develop strong working relationships with external clients, learn MSCI Sustainability and climate solutions and guide clients to better use those solutions in the context of each client specific requirements also leveraging other MSCI Analytics, Index or Private Assets solutions.  As a sales manager, you are expected to be a people person with great communication skills. Your Key Responsibilities Achieve forecasted revenue, renewal and profitability goals Grow commercial relationships and execute up-sales with existing clients Identify opportunities and close sales to new prospects Ability to advice and consult clients and prospects on different Sustainability strategies, particularly Sustainability integration Undertake detailed revenue reporting and forecasting Grow networks and attend relevant industry events Work with the wider sales group to achieve cross-segment opportunities and synergies from information sharing and collaboration Communication of market developments to marketing and product team Support development of sales and support literature Monitor and manage customer satisfaction and retention for a demanding investor client group Your skills and experience that will help you excel   3+ years of experience in client facing position in financial services, a relationship management role for financial insitutions is preferred. Good understanding of ESG & Climate issues & market, financial services and how ESG & Climate factors impact capital markets and financial institutions Excellent organizational, presentation and communication skills. Fluency in Japanese & English, minimum business level, is required. Innovative, motivated, client-oriented and commercially aware thinker A team player able to effectively manage the expectations of a diverse and demanding client base Absolute personal and business integrity Experience integrating ESG or climate for multiple asset classes (Equity, Fixed Income, private equity, infrastructure, private companies, real estate etc.) would be advantageous. MBA, CFA charter or Masters Degree is a plus.
