About this role
Job Title: Lead Cloud Solutions Consultant Job Description Concentrix is looking for a Lead Cloud Solutions Consultant to join our ANZ Cloud and Customer Experience practice. This is a senior, client-facing role. You will be the senior technical voice on your engagement — running discovery with business and IT stakeholders, owning the architecture, making the trade-off calls, and leading a small squad of mid to senior consultants who build it. You will be accountable for the technical outcome, not just your own contribution to it. Our work spans cloud modernisation, data and analytics, and customer experience platforms on AWS, including a growing book of Amazon Connect and CCaaS delivery. Deep Amazon Connect experience is a real differentiator here, but it is not a prerequisite — strong AWS architects who want to build that specialism with us are encouraged to apply. This role suits someone who has outgrown pure engineering and wants the harder problem: shaping what gets built, defending that position in front of a client, and lifting the capability of the people around them.
What you will do
Lead discovery with business, operations, and IT stakeholders, and translate what you hear into architecture that stands up commercially and technically. Own the end-to-end solution design — architecture, integration patterns, data flows, security posture, and non-functional requirements — and act as design authority for the engagement. Lead a squad of mid to senior consultants : set technical direction, allocate work, unblock people, and hold the quality bar. Stay hands-on. You will still write code, build reference implementations, and prove out the hard parts yourself. Lead migrations to AWS , including contact centre migrations from platforms such as Genesys, Avaya, NICE, and Cisco to Amazon Connect — gap analysis, cutover, and rollback planning. Design data and AI-enabled capability using Glue, Athena, QuickSight, Amazon Bedrock, and Amazon Connect AI agents — with the guardrails that make it safe in production. Mentor your squad and build reusable IP — reference architectures, accelerators, and patterns that make the next engagement faster than the last. Support pre-sales occasionally — shaping solutions and estimates for new opportunities. This is a delivery-led role, not a pre-sales one.
What you will bring
8+ years in cloud engineering, architecture, or technical consulting , including significant time in a consulting, systems integrator, or partner environment. Demonstrated ownership of end-to-end AWS solution design for enterprise clients — not just contributing to someone else’s architecture. Technical leadership of a delivery team or squad , including mentoring and quality accountability. Deep AWS platform knowledge across compute, containers, serverless, storage, networking, and data services. Strong development capability in Python and/or TypeScript, plus infrastructure as code (CloudFormation, CDK, or Terraform) and CI/CD. Security and compliance literacy and experience delivering in regulated environments such as financial services, superannuation, health, or government. Excellent communication. You can hold a room, write a design document people actually read, and disagree with a client without damaging the relationship. AWS Professional-level certification (Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer), or equivalent demonstrated depth. Australian work rights and the ability to obtain a police check. Highly regarded Amazon Connect delivery experience — contact flows, routing and queue architecture, Lambda integrations, Contact Lens, outbound campaigns. Contact centre domain knowledge — IVR, ACD, routing, workforce management, quality management. Generative AI delivery experience — Amazon Bedrock, RAG, agentic patterns, evaluation, and guardrails. CRM and enterprise integration — Salesforce, Dynamics 365, ServiceNow, or Zendesk. Telephony and networking fundamentals , and compliance experience
