As the Global Configuration Manager, you will hold global accountability for the governance, architectural design, and operational excellence of our Configuration Management Database (CMDB), ensuring complete alignment with the Common Service Data Model (CSDM) framework. This strategic role is vital to establishing a trusted, controlled foundation across multiple production environments to support core IT Services Management (ITSM), IT Operations Management (ITOM), and Security Operations. Partnering with global Service Owners, Compliance, and Security teams, you will act independently to determine methods and procedures, bridging the gap between technical infrastructure and business services to drive cross-functional compliance and data visibility.

• Drive Strategic Platform Maturity: Define and execute the comprehensive roadmap for CMDB and CSDM evolution across dual ServiceNow production environments, shifting the platform from an asset registry to a dynamic, service-aware ecosystem.

• Establish Global Governance Frameworks: Found and lead the Configuration Control Board (CCB), defining rigorous enterprise standards for CI class ownership, lifecycle state rules, relationship guidelines, and exception handling.

• Architect Data Integrity and Controls: Design and implement automated health dashboards, data-quality safeguards, and proactive remediation workflows leveraging the Identification and Reconciliation Engine (IRE) to guarantee continuous data trustworthiness.

• Guarantee Regulatory and Audit Readiness: Define, monitor, and maintain configuration management controls that provide flawless, measurable audit evidence and change traceability for internal policies, security standards, and global compliance mandates.

• Foster Cross-Functional Enablement: Orchestrate alignment between Asset, Change, and Security Management teams, translating complex data-modeling strategies into practical roadmaps (Epics/PIs) and training programs that maximize enterprise adoption.

WHAT YOU BRING

• ServiceNow & Configuration Management Database (CMDB) Expertise: Comprehensive expertise in architectural modeling within the ServiceNow platform, with a deep command of CMDB infrastructure, the Identification and Reconciliation Engine (IRE), and Health Dashboards.

• Common Service Data Model (CSDM) Implementation: Demonstrated capability executing the CSDM framework to map technical architecture and asset infrastructure directly to business and technical services.

• Data Modeling & Data Ingestion: Strong proficiency in relational database concepts, complex relationship modeling, and tool ingestion utilities including Discovery, Service Mapping, and Service Graph Connectors.

• Integration Tooling Fluency: Hands-on familiarity establishing configuration management data flows using ServiceNow Discovery, Service Mapping, or multi-source (third-party) enterprise tool integrations.

• Strategic Influence & Communication Clarity: Exceptional capability to articulate complex technical data concepts, CMDB health metrics, and CSDM governance models clearly to technical teams, compliance auditors, and senior business leaders while driving global process
