Your Impact
As a Technical Systems Engineer with Commerce Product Management & Engineering (part of Cisco IT), you will support scalable, forward-thinking solutions to address new business models and challenges, driving digital transformation. You will collaborate on multi-functional projects to identify areas for improvement. You will analyze internal processes, data, and problems, and identify benefits from new capabilities using emerging digital and cloud technologies.
Responsibilities
Responsible for Security Vulnerability Remediation, Infrastructure Compliance, Resiliency, and SOX Compliance for Cisco’s mission-critical commerce platform. Goal is to ensure the platform remains secure, compliant, resilient, and audit-ready while enabling continuous delivery. Act as the main point of contact for the Risk & Compliance adherence for the organization. Triage and prioritize issues/vulnerability remediation based on urgency and impact Conduct root cause analysis and apply critical thinking to solve complex problems Ensure infrastructure complies with enterprise security standards and regulatory requirements. Drive disaster recovery (DR) planning and testing. Ensure timely and effective resolution of issues while maintaining risk free security posture Ensure IT systems meet SOX control requirements. Follow Industry best practices for security, scalability, and performance Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 6–7 years of relevant professional experience. 3+ years of experience Vulnerability assessment, remediation planning, risk prioritization( SAST/DAST, Qualis, SCA, Tenable, WizIO, Secrets Infrastructure administration and cloud security - Linux/Windows, VMware, Kubernetes, Docker, AWS/Azure/GCP, networking, IAM, DNS, load balancers Regulatory and audit knowledge- SOX ITGC, SOC 2, ISO, GDPR Preferred Qualifications Monitoring & Observability – Splunk, AppDynamics, log analysis, Kibana Database & Middleware – Oracle, Mongo,Cassandra, Kafka, Executive presentations, stakeholder management, influencing engineering teams, audit coordination Strong Analytical and troubleshooting Skills.
