Groundsperson

Performs a variety of general labor and maintenance tasks to support operations in industries such as construction, manufacturing, or facilities management. Responsibilities may include cleaning, moving materials, assisting skilled trades workers, operating basic equipment, and ensuring work areas are safe and organized. Utilitymen often provide essential support to ensure smooth and efficient workflow. Essential Functions • Perform a variety of tasks assisting with the operation of the plant, including using hand tools, cleaning, washing, sweeping, and shoveling materials. • Assist co-workers in the servicing, repairing, and adjusting of various pieces of equipment throughout the plant. • Perform daily inspections and maintenance of the plant equipment in order to ensure safe, reliable, and compliant operations that maximize production and minimize interruptions. • Operate heavy construction equipment or similar types of cleanup loaders in order to assist with the operation of the plant. • Additional Responsibilities.
