Territory Sales Manager Territory: Louisiana and Southern Mississippi Are you prospecting for a great career? We at Fluke have an outstanding opportunity for a highly motivated field seller for the Louisiana and Southern Mississippi territory. We are currently looking for a sales professional with a technical background to work with our end-users and distributor network. Candidates should have 5+ years sales experience in the industrial sector selling technical solutions – preferably with a focus on electrical applications. Using your technical knowledge is key to supporting our distribution partners, and end-user customers.
Primary Responsibilities
Actively promote Fluke products to achieve sales quota by establishing rapport, providing training and support, and making end user calls. Become a local authority in Fluke products and solutions. Understand industrial applications and processes. Collaborate with other sales and marketing team members to prepare responses to proposals, provide product demonstrations and training, and address end-user customer needs. Optimally use company resources, including the customer relationship management system (Dynamics CRM), data analytics (Power BI), and other tools from the Microsoft Suite. Collaborate with local distribution partners to drive growth at the end user level. Able to work remotely out of a home office with the capacity to travel to end-user sites within territory (approx. 50% overnight travel, depending on location) Can conduct remote meetings and use technology to connect with customers and others. Proficient at using LinkedIn to find new prospects. Relationship Building: Build lasting relationships with local distributors and end users to provide solutions to their problems using an array of Fluke equipment, software & services. Provide support for a variety of distributor and customer events including trade shows, seminars, and onsite training, etc. Leverage the use of internal Fluke support teams to effectively grow your territory.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree preferred in Engineering or Business or 4-year technical degree equivalent. 5-7 years’ experience in a related sales role, technical sales experience is a nice to have. Communicate effectively with customers. Ability to operate independently to achieve goals working in a fast-paced multidimensional environment requiring time management, creativity and independent judgment. Skilled use in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, Teams, and a CRM platform. Must live within the Louisiana, Southern Mississippi territory. Preferably Baton Rouge, LA area.
