We’re looking for an experienced Senior Product Manager to join our ever evolving Product team and help shape the future of global commerce. What You’ll Own Our API Product Managers take a leading role in defining, designing, building and bringing to market Global Payments products and capabilities via our API. Working within the Design and Delivery team within the wider Developer Experience and API team, the API Product Manager, will focus on the Global Payments API product offerings with the goal of delivering a world class integration experience for new and existing capabilities for merchants/partners and their developers. API Product Managers help to shape the product vision, define the product roadmap, design and document our APIs, oversee the development of their changes and give product direction to delivery teams ensuring that the delivered capabilities meet and exceed merchants needs. Our ideal API Product Manager will have a background in defining, designing and building new API capabilities, documenting those new capabilities to a high standard using the OpenAPI Specification (OAS) and bringing those features to market across all Global Payments geographic regions and business units. Product Delivery Create business and functional requirements for the technical delivery teams. Diligently design API changes, within your team, to exacting standards using OAS, mock servers and step by step guides. Manage the product life cycle, from conception through to product launch and ensuring that the go-to-market needs are met. Proactively document changes to product capabilities for publication on internal training sites, developer portals, within marketing collateral as required. Work side-by-side with technical Business Analysts, scrum-masters and development team leads to drive efficient and rapid delivery of product needs. Facilitate communication across the organization to maintain alignment on the current product state and vision. Ensure key stakeholders are aware of impacts and prioritization required. Collaborate with User Researchers and Product Designers to better understand customers, their experiences and expectations and work with Product Design to help solve challenges where appropriate. Product Strategy Own and drive the vision for a defined set of products/capabilities to solve customer problems. Undertake market research and competitor analysis for a defined set of products/capabilities. Managing the performance of your products in the market, ensuring the adoption by pilot customers and utilising customer feedback and product metrics to ensure your products are successful in the market. Thought Leadership Develop and deliver training to our Regional Product, Sales and Customer Success teams so they can best support their customers. Facilitate knowledge sharing and guide Regional Product teams on product management best practices and enable these teams to reach maturity.
