 OVERVIEW This position plays a significant role in the definition and implementation of our over-arching SAP S/4 solutions and applications strategy, including functional roadmaps, architecture, design and implementation for Supply Chain solutions. This role performs work that is highly complex, varied in nature, and spans multiple functional areas. It also seeks to ensure optimum utilization of existing core platforms and their integration while considering and / or facilitating the justified deployment of new technologies in response to business requirements. As a Lead Solution Architect, you will be part of our SAP Platform & Strategic Initiatives team. In this role you are responsible for guiding strategic thought leadership across our SAP ecosystem, including functional & technical design & architecture, coaching & mentoring broader talent, and successful delivery of strategic initiatives projects. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Lead or advise on Supply Chain (Plan, Source, Make, Inventory Pillars) solutions roadmap and projects. Understand supply chain business processes and requirements related to SAP solutions by engaging through D&T with business partners and SAP practitioners at enterprise level. Conduct comparative research and recommend strategies with regards to SAP technologies to propose and implement solutions for business needs. Perform discovery projects by engaging with business units and SAP team members to find the best possible solutions for GMI. Lead, consult or participate in end-to-end implementations while also engaging as a functional solution architect in other parallel SAP projects Craft adaptable, comprehensive, and feasible solutions by creating necessary blueprint documents for functional requirements and technical specifications. Lead, review and/or participate in solution design, build, test and go live activities on SAP Supply Chain solutions implementations, rollouts, or upgrade projects. Learn and understand existing system landscape to be able to design solutions for efficient and effective integration of SAP systems with other business applications. Review current standards and continuously revise to ensure best practices. Serve as the conduit through D&T to enable businesses and technology.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor or advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Accounting, or Business from an accredited institution or equivalent 10+ years of progressive SAP solutioning hands on experience leading up to architect level work. Deep expertise in one or more SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4 modules such as Materials Management (MM), Production Planning (PP), Inventory Management (IM), Quality Management (QM), WM (Warehouse Management) Experience in multiple S/4 implementations with focus on specific supply chain areas, examples production planning, production execution, procurement, inventory management and integration with other S/4 capabilities or 3rd party systems (MES, 3PL etc.) Knowledge of respective cross-functional integration with order management, transportation management and Finance processes. Hands-on experience with complex and large-scale SAP project implementations. Working through broader organization teams and external partners for the successful delivery of end-to-end solutions Ability to convert business challenges into technical solutions.
