As Leader of Global Supply Chain (GSC) you will inspire, coordinate, and lead several teams within Millennium’s GSC organization to deliver high-quality parts on time and on cost, with considerations for continuous improvement, driving reduction in cost, with focus on quality. The manager is the advocate for the team to ensure they have the required resources to exceed customer expectations. You will directly manage supplier operations, indirect procurement, strategic sourcing, and other Supply Chain related functions. This position will report to the Sr. Director of Global Supply Chain and sits onsite at our office in El Segundo, CA. This position's internal job code is Procurement Multi-fam Spec. Our team is currently hiring for a level L.
Position
Responsibilities: Support and execute a clear, high-level vision for the supply chain organization, aligning with company goals and growth strategies Drive supply chain strategy to support major proposal and pursuit activities, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and cost expectations and qualified sources of supply Sourcing and supplier management, pricing, terms, and conditions, and Statement of work strategies and negotiations Strengthening supply chain resiliency by identifying and mitigating risks across global and domestic supply bases Develop, manage, and monitor key performance indicators Provide mentorship and regular feedback through 1:1 meetings and formal performance reviews Boeing First-Line Leader Assessment: To be considered for this position you will be required to complete an assessment as part of the selection process. Basic Qualifications
(Required Skills/Experience): Bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain/operations management, OR business 15+ years of experience in supply chain/procurement in aerospace, defense, or advanced manufacturing 5+ years of experience in leadership roles building and scaling teams Government contracting under FAR/DFARS regulations This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. A final U.S. clearance Post Start is required Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Experience with ITAR/EAR, classified programs Expertise in strategic sourcing and vendor management, including pricing analysis, lead time and contract negotiations, supply chain planning and procurement, and high-level executive communications. Vast ERP/MRP/MES/PLM system experience Demonstrated ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a high-energy, fast-paced environment Experience building scalable processes Experience communicating results to senior leadership Experience in a fast-paced and high-growth environment Strong analytical capabilities, including data extraction and root cause analysis, with a proven track record of developing scalable, effective solutions Excellent business judgment and communication skills, both written and verbal, with a pragmatic, results-oriented mindset Meticulous attention to detail and a hands-on approach, with a commitment to driving large-scale initiatives and removing obstacles to Strong negotiator Conflict of Interest: Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.
