This is a remote, part-time role (20 hours per week) that will be aligned with our Denver, CO office. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: Utilizes advanced scientific principles, theories, practices and existing technologies to develop technical solutions to complex problems. Interprets and records data, conducts analyses, compares findings to relevant studies and local, provincial and national regulations to ensure compliance. Work is performed with minimal direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining technical objectives of assignment. Responsible for advanced duties and activities in their specialized functional area. Conducts research and does investigation work as required. Plans and organizes project studies. Assists in the resolution of conflicting technical information and unsuitability of standard procedures. Performs complex assignments often requiring the development of unique solutions to problems. May oversee the work of junior level staff. Technical responsibilities include: Manage and deliver noise analysis tasks for major transportation, construction, energy, and development projects across the U.S. Perform and supervise predictive analyses with spreadsheet-based tools and commercially available software. Perform and supervise acoustical measurements, noise surveys, and investigations. Research and review regulatory criteria at the local, state, and national level. Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in acoustics, engineering, physics, mathematics, or environmental policy (or closely related fields). 6 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education in acoustical consulting, noise control engineering, building acoustics, and vibration.
