Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is looking for you to join our team as an Administrative Functional Support 4 , providing administrative assistance to our Baltimore, MD based Field Engineering home office. Full-time telework may be considered for this role. What You’ll Get To Do: Provide administrative and coordination support to Mission Systems Field Engineering. Serve as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, communicating professionally in both written and verbal formats. Demonstrate tact, diplomacy, discretion, and sound judgment when conveying, gathering, and sharing sensitive or critical information. Apply strong attention to detail, collaboration, and appropriate assertiveness to ensure efficient operations and timely completion of administrative tasks. Essential responsibilities include, but not limited to the following: Serves as a focal point for the organization and communicates with internal and external customers and executives, professionally representing the corporation and organization. Performs office functions such as preparing material for briefings; answering phone calls and making proper referrals; receiving, referring, or answering e-mail. Assists in maintaining department and programmatic information. Follows up on open actions to ensure deadlines are met. Gathers, compiles, and reports on information relevant to supervisor’s assignments. Assist in the preparation and submittal of expense reports for team members. Assist in the preparation and submittal of assignment allowances for team members. Operates independently to meet requirements of leadership team and offers expertise to assist other functions within the organization. Provides operational support for several programs; researches and obtains information, helps plan and ensure follow-through of assigned tasks. This position’s standard work schedule 40 hours per week and is available for flexible work arrangements.
Basic Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent and 6 years additional education and/or related experience. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook) skills. Experience with Concur or similar travel/expense application. Previous experience in an administrative support role. Must have U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain/maintain a U.S. government Secret Security Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
