What this job involves: As a Professional, Accounting at JLL, you'll be responsible for executing and overseeing key accounting and financial processes for JLL's operations across Latin America, ensuring control, accuracy, and compliance of accounting records. This role offers the opportunity to develop your expertise across payment controls, collections management, account reconciliations, and financial reporting while contributing to process improvements that drive operational excellence throughout the region. What your day-to-day will look like: Execute weekly payment controls and reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation of all transactions while verifying compliance with established policies and procedures Manage collections controls and reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies promptly while following up on outstanding accounts and handling related inquiries Validate accounting records to ensure precision, integrity, and compliance with applicable accounting principles Record operational expenses in a timely and accurate manner within accounting systems Execute monthly bank reconciliations, identifying and resolving in-transit items or discrepancies Prepare and perform reconciliations of different accounting accounts according to established schedules, investigating and resolving outstanding items while maintaining updated and organized supporting documentation Provide support to the Senior Accountant in preparing weekly management reports and collaborate in monthly and annual closing processes by preparing required information and analysis Participate in special projects and process improvements as needed Interact effectively with teams from other regions to coordinate accounting processes and resolve inquiries, maintaining fluid communication with internal stakeholders across different Latin American countries Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 5–7 years of progressive experience in accounting and financial positions Proven experience in bank reconciliations and accounting account reconciliations Practical knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes Intermediate English proficiency with ability to read and comprehend instructions, procedures, and technical documentation in English Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, and data analysis Experience with ERP accounting systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial standards Ability to analyze financial information and detect inconsistencies Exceptional attention to detail and high precision in work Preferred qualifications: Experience working with multi-country operations Knowledge of IFRS/NIIF accounting standards Strong
