THE JOB: As a   Hostperson   for   La La Noodle   at   Park MGM , you will set the stage for a spectacular culinary journey by warmly welcoming guests into our vibrant, retro-inspired Pan-Asian dining destination. You will orchestrate the flawless flow of our bustling, high-energy dining room from the very first greeting, maintaining a pristine, meticulously organized entryway that reflects our premier hospitality standards. Working in seamless harmony with Food Servers, Buspersons, and Food Runners to coordinate precise table management and share essential guest seating details, your polished professionalism and warm hospitality will ensure every visitor feels instantly valued and ready for an unforgettable, flavor-packed dining experience. THE STARTING RATE:   $22.7283 Hourly THE DAY-TO-DAY: Communicate with Restaurant Reservations regarding special orders, cake orders, special requests – responsible for conveying all such information to management Maintain knowledge of scheduled daily activities and in‐house groups, daily house count, table/seat/station numbers, proper table set ups, room capacity, hours of operation, price range and dress code of the restaurant Greet guests promptly as they enter the restaurant Answer phones, keep accurate count of reservations and handle reservation book Ensure menus have proper inserts and are current according to the most recent change, and replace all menus in poor condition Communicate the needs of the guests to the kitchen and management, inform management of guest reactions and comments, and assist management as needed to ensure smooth operation and quality service Frequently check back with guests who are waiting to be seated; make it evident to guests that they have not been forgotten and that tables are being prepared for them Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas; shut down podium and forward phones to voice‐loop at end of shift THE IDEAL CANDIDATE: Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays required Must be 18 years of age or older 2+ Years of Prior Relevant Experience as a Hostperson in a restaurant preferred Previous Experience with Open Table or SevenRooms preferred THE PERKS & BENEFITS: Wellness incentive programs to help you stay healthy physically and mentally Access to company hotel, food and beverage, retail, and entertainment discounts as well as discounts with company partners on things like travel, electronics, online shopping, and more!
